故事讲述了经营一家皮肤管理中心32岁大龄剩女尤可一，受到感情创伤后，在妈妈的催促下频繁相亲且不断失败，导致其妈妈为此气病。不料公司又发生重大事故需要重金赔偿，为此尤可一经受着家庭，事业的双重考验。所幸女主凭着乐观，不认输的精神终得爱情、事业双丰收的结局。影片并以此呼吁社会给予剩女这个群体理解与尊重。
