禁止性爱：梦遗

　　故事发生在1080年的西班牙，彼时的西班牙并没有统一，而是分为三个互不干涉彼此国家政务的小国。卢利歌（查尔登·海斯顿 Charlton Heston 饰）因为暗中放走了国王卡斯提尔下令处死的摩尔人酋长而遭到了国王的厌恶。在一场意外之中，卢利歌不小心杀死了未婚妻吉米娜（索 菲娅·罗兰 Sophia Loren 饰）的父亲，导致两人的情感破裂。　　不久之后，卢利歌所在的国家遭到了别国的侵略，卢利歌奋起反击保护自己祖国领土的完整，最终将敌人击退。然而坏事成双，卡斯提尔的去世让两名王子阿尔福斯（约翰·弗拉瑟 John Fraser 饰）和桑科（加里·雷蒙德 Gary Raymond 饰）开始争夺王位，好不容易恢复的和平再一次遭到破坏。

 故事背景设定在16世纪的英国，海盗首领莫根船长（拉尔德·克雷加 Laird Cregar 饰）受到国王查理的特赦，并被任命为牙买加总督。一位年轻而勇敢、机智而英俊的年轻人沃林（泰隆·鲍华 Tyrone Power 饰）决定跟随莫根船长前往牙买加。然而，莫根过去的下属、狡猾而残忍的里奇船长（乔治·桑德斯 George Sanders 饰）却拒绝接受莫根的领导，继续在海上进行抢劫商船的行为。为了消灭海盗，沃林率领船队出海，在航行途中偶然与里奇的“黑天鹅号”，并和其他两艘船发生了遭遇战。面临险境，沃林不得不机智地假装前来投降并投靠里奇。通过巧妙周旋和激烈战斗，里奇最终受到了惩罚，他的“黑天鹅号”彻底被摧毁。与此同时，贵族小姐玛格丽特（玛琳·奥哈拉 Maureen O'Hara 饰）对沃林从厌恶逐渐转变为敬佩，最终产生了爱慕之情，展开了一场曲折而离奇的爱情故事。

　　粗鲁蛮横的博贝克（金·科林斯 Kim Collins 饰）和女儿维多利亚（Amy Brassette 饰）参加钓鱼大赛，谁知到手的鱼儿却被一条白鲨吃掉。博贝克勃然大怒，竟然用炸药对付鲨鱼，结果父女引来了可怕的杀身之祸，连驾驶游艇的船长也无法幸免。次日，爱娃（Mackenzie Rosman 饰）、卡梅隆（Jaren Mitchell 饰）、米克（Shawn C. Phillips 饰）、布雷西（Dave Randolph-Mayhem Davis 饰）等几名年轻人来海边玩耍，可在欢乐之时一条全身散发荧光的鲨鱼向人们发起猛烈攻击。原来鲨鱼也有憎恶怨恨之心，昨晚的鲨鱼虽被博贝克炸死，但它的怨念使它化身为复仇的鬼鲨鱼，向所有人类展开报复。　　而这一切的背后，又藏着不可告人的秘密……

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
